Berlin - SMP advised the Polish private equity investor ARIA on the Series A financing round of the packaging specialist Inuru with a total volume of EUR 2 million. In addition to new investor ARIA, the corporate venture fund of the Merck Group M Ventures and the Berlin-based accelerator of Techstars have already invested in Inuru. ARIA received comprehensive legal advice from an SMP team including Martyna Sabat, Peter Möllmann and Martin Schaper.
"The interconnectedness of the Polish-German VC scene is increasingly noticeable. After the SMP funds team had already advised the early-stage investor Sunfish Partners on structuring a fund with a focus on Polish deep-tech startups last year, with ARIA SMP has now for the first time also advised a Polish investor on an investment in Germany", says Martyna Sabat, associate at SMP.
