Berlin – Schnittker Möllmann Partners (SMP) advised the global venture capital firm e.ventures on the launch of its sixth fund generation for early stage investments with an aggregate volume of USD 400 million. USD 175 million are managed by a Berlin-based fund with investment focus on Europe. The remaining USD 225 million are managed by a US-focused fund based in San Francisco. A team led by SMP partners Stephan Bank and Jens Kretzschmann provided comprehensive legal and tax advice on the structuring of the new European fund as well as on all corporate, partnership law, tax and regulatory matters. e.ventures has already relied on the SMP team's expertise in connection with the formation of previous funds. In addition, Stephan Bank continuously advises e.ventures on numerous investments in European portfolio companies.
